Weekend in Tokyo - Computer Typing contest and Grimoire tights!

Hello!
So this weekend was really great and one I've looked forward to since some time before!
My japanese high school, Kobe Gakuin, participated in a competition for typing on the computer fast, and when I got the chance to try it out I came out first place in whole of japan.
Its literally that you hear a word in english and see the japanese kanji of it, and then you have to type it spelled correctly in under 5 min. max point is 1000 points and I usually got about 940.
My top was 960 which is record. Its so damn hard though, I dont speak English as my first language, but i bet that even native ones would have a hard time doing that.
You have to type fast, read japanese, and be able to hear different kinds of pronunciations and spell correctly. So Im happy i got in the first place but also very impressed by the Japanese students who got around 800 points and close to me!

But the day before the  competition me and the group from school who were all going to participate had some hours to spare to go around Tokyo!
I was lucky to have ohmygod why did i write this shit so formally lmaooo this doesnt sound like me look at the text no "Lmaos" and 100% serious whats wrong with me sorry
anyways hahaha saturday i woke up at six, finished packing, and took the 1 hour train to school to meet up with the sensei who was going with us and with another student who also met up their, and she and i became so good friends like yeaahh i love nice people shes so cute and nice hug me pls
Thanks to her, Sayuka, or Sayu, i didnt have to be alone at all and that is such a blessing because i know how it feels to be lonely lmao suck my ass that sucks
so i love her now and she loves me too

we went on adventures in tokyo, got lost because of me, found our way because of me, and went to some Janizu. or in english, Johnnys, shop where they sell TONS of cute pics of cute idol boys like ARASHI, Hey Say Jump and all that crap. Fuck so many screaming girls and cute pics i bought three and Sayu like ten lmao. We waited for one hour in line to the cashier wow and i had low bloodsugar or tbh just needed to eat and drink something it was crushing to be inside with all the screaming girls (they all honestly screamed all the time because of the cute pics) and blah so after that we took puri and then ate crepes YES NICE THANK GOD FINALLY SUGAR so i started living again after that and then we went to a shop i wanted to go to since we went to the shop she wanted to go to.
We went to Grimoire! I've wanted their tights since maybe 2 years ago when i first discovered cultparty kei, and damn those tights are tight hahah and fuck so EXPENSIVE i got a shock because I usually dont look at prices of the things i really wanna buy, i just expect them to be cheap or ok price because its worth it, but honestly even though its their original brand tights they're just TIGHTS and i only bought two of them, but they cost around 60$??? they're tights . help
anyways so i bought them anyway since i've always wanted them and didnt find good ones on the internet, and thats my christmas present to my self lmao im broke now i swear to god

the tights!!!

i look so fkn good in yukatas bye

supersmall hotelroom ew hated it

so I had it real fun even if i was still a bit sick and very tired of having no sleep at all almost! But so fun and I miss tokyo so much as always, its such an unique place and the air and the people, everything is so vivid and living, completely different from Kobe. Man i need to live there for at least 1 year when im over 18 hahah damn

Oh and I also met my hostfamily from last years one month tokyo exchange! They were literally the same, but I wanted to express my gratitude to them since I took it all for granted when I was there. Now I know many different kinds of hostfamilies and I can appreciate how good and nice they were, and also how a bit ignorant I was. I honestly didnt know much about them even though we lived in the same house, I just hanged with friends and partied when I was there last year so I didnt get to know them as much as I'd like to have. Not regreting anything tho I just wanted to say my thanks.
And they appreciated it too, its amazing how you can come close to people here and suddenly have a home in another country that isnt your home. Life is amazing.
lmao getting all soft n here i need a shower bye

Small update - 4 months

Hello!
It's been a while since I blogged!
Much has happend but sometimes you just dont feel like blogging about it.
I have been here for about 4 months now, with about 6 months left.
The time flies so fast it scares me lmao

I want to talk about the difficulties and low / down parts of an exchange more than the happy ones lmao because i think those are more useful for other future exchange students.

I've always felt like home here in japan. But some days can be harder than others. Sometimes you can also be sad without a reason or very tired and thats ok. Do it your own pace. But make sure to do something.
In the beginning things were good, but why they werent great was because even tho i had friends they werent the ones I've chosen myself, and thus very boeing to be with. I constantly asked myself why I was sad and bored when I was with them. And thats because we were different types of people. Some people u just go friends with immediately, like how I am now with my best friend Ryuto. I literally talked to him once and then we just like became bros. You have to find your types, its like a puzzle.
I'm so incredibly happy now because of my friends. They make everything better and I wouldnt have made it til now without them.
I get so much good energy from them its so important with good friends that you can talk to and be with and they do the same to you.
In the beginning my hostfam was the best, but school wasnt as fun as it is now. Now my hostfam isnt the best, but school is so damn fun.
Nothing can ever be perfect lmao i swear to god

Right now is the test week, so everyone is busy studying and takin tests, and i have a slightly fever and a cold, so im stayin @ home which is nice but also kinda boring and my head hurts so not nice.
I want to go to school and move and do things lmao.
This weekend im going to Tokyo to participate in some kind of computer english test contest (im no.1 in all of japan high school students) on listening and spelling and writing fast. Nice. Gonna shop awya

Also important
Dont fucking compare your exchange year to someone elses. You have your own levels. Only compare to urself. You also dont 100% know the person nor how their exchange year really was so nah screw that.
Something that is fun for you doesnt become less fun because someone else did something that might be percepted as "funnier". Nah.

Im too tired to blog anymore today, might do a vlog later when I come home from tokyo. C yaaaaa
